One of the true highlights of our year was spending time with so many of you across the Support Driven and ElevateCX events. Every conversation, hallway chat, and after-hours hang reminded us why we love building for the people who care deeply about documentation and customer experience.

Making manual screenshots a thing of the past

Our team of Implementation Specialists have been busy this year. And by busy, we mean creating thousands of custom automation recipes to automatically deliver fresh, always-current product screenshots and give countless help centers a visual overhaul.

As well as automating thousands of previously manual screenshots, we’ve also been hard at work shipping exciting new and enhanced features. Here’s a highlight reel of just some of those features designed to elevate your docs maintenance processes and ensure your documentation stays aligned without all the manual chasing.

Instead of playing content detective, or chasing other teams for UI updates, you can now use our automated recurring screenshot audits to automatically reprocess all of your automation recipes, scan every image across your help center and highlight exactly what changed. With built-in alerts that surface updates as they occur, your help center finally has a reliable verification system that keeps documentation aligned with your fast-moving product.

In addition to screenshot audits and features to enhance your screenshot governance process, we also shipped several new features to make sharing your visuals easier than ever. Our new Google Drive and Microsoft OneDrive integrations instantly export always-up-to-date screenshots to your shared folders, turning them into a living asset accessible across the entire organization. And with Unscripted Visuals, you can now manage everything that can’t be automated — photos, schematics, mockups, and third-party screenshots — in the same structured workflow as your automated captures. A central repository for all of your visuals, and a single streamlined governance process to keep your content fresh, accurate, and consistently aligned across your documentation.
